Directly across the street from the racetrack is a popular south coast surf break in Barbados known as Brandons or Drill Hall.

Where is the nearest supermarket or grocery store if I need to buy something?

However if you need to visit a large scale supermarket chain then you can visit 1 of 2 supermarkets found in Worthing that you can walk to from the resort. These are Big B (Super Centre) and Trimart. 

Trimart is located in Worthing at the traffic lights of Highway 7 and Rendezvous.  To walk to this supermarket from the Accra Hotel Barbados you will need to head south west in the direction of Cave Shepherd and St.Lawrence Gap.  

You will eventually reach a Shell gas station at this intersection and Trimart is directly across the street from the gas station.

Big B Supermarket is just a few steps further.  At these traffic lights you will need to turn left on to Rendezvous, past the First Caribbean Bank on your left and you will see Big B Supermarket and its parking lot.

How about money? Is there a bank with ATMs nearby this Barbados hotel?

If you need to withdraw money there is an ATM machine at the Quayside Centre Shopping Plaza across the street from Accra Hotel Barbados.

If you need to go to an actual bank, the closest bank is the First Caribbean International Bank in Rendezvous.  This bank is located next to the Big B Supermarket mentioned above within walking distance of Accra Hotel Barbados.

If you are a Canadian traveler and hold an ATM card from a Canadian bank, it is best to visit a Royal Bank of Canada.

You can find a RBC with ATMs in St.Lawrence Gap or north of the resort in Hastings.

If I rent a car during my stay at this Barbados beach hotel where can I get gas?

The Accra Hotel Barbados is located between two gas stations that are very close to the resort. These are the Shell Gas Station in Worthing and the Esso Gas Station in Hastings.

The Esso Gas Station in Hastings is to the north west of the hotel in the direction of Bridgetown. You can reach this gas station by simply following Highway 7 for about 5 minutes until you reach Hastings Plaza to your right.

The Esso Gas Station is located just after this shopping plaza.

The Shell Gas Station on the other hand is located to the south east of the hotel in Worthing at the traffic lights of Highway 7 and the bottom of Rendezvous.  

To get to this gas station from the hotel you will need to drive south along Highway 7 towards St.Lawrence Gap. The gas station is on the left hand side just past Cave Shepherd (before the traffic lights).
