Do note that you can only use Cayman Golf Balls on this Barbados golf course, and if you don't have any you will be able to purchase some from the hotel's pro golf shop.

For those of you who do not know, Cayman golf balls are the same size as a regular golf ball but are lighter and have a brambled surface as opposed to dimples.

This reduces the distance these golf balls travel by over half that of a regular golf ball and are designed for use on smaller courses, like this one.

There is also a small fee of $5 USD per person for green fees and rental of a cart.

The Horizon

The main restaurant at the resort is The Horizon. This is an open air restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, offering classic continental cuisine.

There is a full buffet breakfast every morning, an a la carte lunch on weekdays with a buffet lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

There is also an a la carte dinner on a nightly basis at The Horizon with the menu changing ever night.

The only nights you will notice this changes is for the Wednesday Night Barbeque and the Saturday Night Caribbean Buffet.

Enid's Restaurant

There is also Enid’s Restaurant at Almond Beach Village.

At this restaurant you will be able to eat authentic Bajan cuisine such as macaroni pie and rice and peas.

The main thing you will notice about this restaurant is it's colourful, Caribbean decor giving it a warm feeling.

Enid's is open to all guests for dinner and you will not need to make a reservation to dine here.

La Smarrita

Almond Beach Village Barbados has 1 adult only restaurant called La Smarrita. This restaurant is open every night from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm for dinner offering you Italian cuisine.

This restaurant has a more formal and elegant atmosphere requiring men to wear collar shirts and trousers.

Unlike Enid's you "will" need to make a reservation to dine at La Smarrita.

The Reef

For al fresco dining, The Reef is delightfully situated right on the beach, serving breakfast, lunch and snacks during the day.

There is also gourmet seafood during the evening for which reservations are required.

The main highlight of this restaurant is the beautiful views of the ocean from your dining table.

Alternative Dining Options at The Sister Alomnd Resorts

Since the Almond Beach Village Barbados is a member of the collection of Almond Resorts in Barbados, guests can enjoy complimentary dining at the restaurants at both the Almond Beach Club Barbados Resort and Spa, as well as The Almond Casuarina Beach Resort.

This is what the resort refers to as their Dine Around Program.

Getting to these other Barbados resorts to dine will not be a problem as there is a complimentary shuttle that will transfer you to and from these hotels.
