If you are staying at the Mango Bay Resort in Barados then Lexy Piano Bar is a spot you should definitely drop by. It is located right at the entrance to the resort at the end of Second Street in Holetown, St.James.

This is Barbados' premier piano bar along the west coast of the island with live entertainment.

The bar was opened by Alex Santoriello, a reknown Broadway performer and producer, in early 2007 and has become a significant addition to the Barbados nightlife on the west coast of the island.  

During Alex's acting career on Broadway he performed in Les Miserables, Chess and Three Penny Opera, as well as Jesus Christ Superstar and Cats.

His most recent work has been on the musical adaptation of Charles Dicken's 1857 novel, A Tale of Two Cities, which he helped produce along side his sister, Jill Santoriello.  The musical successfully debuted at the Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida on October 26th of 2007 and will hit Broadway in September of 2008.  

Alex has also had his taste of the big screen, acting in the Academy Award Nominated film Far From Heaven as well as being featured in the soap opera All My Children.

After a ten year career of acting and producing Alex semi-retired to a career in performing in concert.  This eventually led him to Barbados which he made his new home, moving here from New York in 2002.

He has since had the privilege of peforming at the reopening ceremony of  Barbados' largest cricket stadium, The Kensington Oval, as well as the 2007 World Cup of Cricket which was also held at this stadium.

Even though Alex has now opened one of the hottest bars on the west coast of the island, he still continues to perform at local events, many of which are for charity.  

Lexy Piano Bar offers visitors and locals a more relaxing, smoke-free night of drinking than the louder pubs and night clubs along the south coast of the island.  This is perfect for the over 30 crowd.

You are pleasantly treated to a variety of piano entertainers performing every night from 9:00 pm until 2:00 am, except for Mondays, and you can often catch Alex doing duets with many of his guest performers.

Due to the success of Lexy Piano Bar, Alex also has plans for opening a similar bar on the south coast of the island offering visitors a similar experience and is sure to be a big hit.
